Visiting Greek Town was a great experience that brought our group together. This was my first time using the red and blue lines, which also made it a learning experience. I typically have not used the public transportation system since I'm from the suburbs and drive everywhere. Greek town is only a part of Chicago's rich culture; however, it contributes to authentic Chicago. Furthermore, the food from Greek Town was similar to what I've seen in Poland. In Poland they have the same machines to make the gyros, but are used to make kabobs instead. The gyros tasted great and it was interesting to see how they were made. The presentations of other students sparked interest in other Chicago neighborhoods and I hope to get a chance to visit them all.
